North Kingstown is a coastal New England town that is defined by its relationship to the Narragansett Bay: scenic beaches and marinas, maritime industries, the Quonset/Davisville military complex and the Quonset Business Park – one of the biggest economic success stories in the State of Rhode Island. These features are also the most impacted by coastal hazards and sea level rise. Our plan addresses climate change and weaves it into how the town grows and adapts over the next 20 years.
