We’re currently knee deep in creating a vision for the City of Suwanee in Georgia. The Suwanee 20/20 Vision is “a community plan to bring Suwanee’s future into focus.” It will seek to capture the hopes and dreams of Suwanee’s residents to develop specific strategies and action steps that can help the vision become reality. Working for the City of Suwanee and our excellent partners Pond / Ecos and Market + Main, we’ll be installing a community Open House in a vacant storefront in Suwanee’s Town Center and helping to organize months of roundtable discussions designed to enable neighbors to talk to one another about the City’s future. To keep the conversations going throughout the process, Interface Studio is designing a website that will act as a central forum to gather ideas and observations about Suwanee.
To create a buzz about the Open House and introduce the suwanee2020.com website, Interface Studio produced a looping animation that will be projected into the storefront window for the duration of the Open House. Check it out below!
Integral to the outreach, we’re pulling together historic and present-day data to help tell the story of the City’s evolution. The public process truly kicks off this Summer so stay tuned for updates. It should a busy time in Georgia through the remainder of 2011.
